Provided town planning consultancy services, working alongside the scheme architect, to secure full planning permission for the change of use and conversion of an existing barn in the Green Belt to 1 no. residential dwelling and subsequent condition discharge approval. This scheme included the creation of a new driveway across the Green Belt, and a detached garage, alongside the conversion of the barn. Following Local Authority and neighbour objections, it was successfully argued through appeal that the proposed development constituted appropriate development in the Green Belt consistent with national planning policy. Subsequent amendments to the scheme have been secured through S73 applications.
